Scottish Wedding Venues

If you are looking for a Scottish setting for your wedding I have worked at and can recommend the following venues:

The National Trust for Scotland have many sites for hire as wedding venues, one of which is Fyvie Castle, one of the most stunning castles in the north-east of Scotland. With its 13th-century origins and stunning Edwardian interiors, the castle houses a superb collection of arms, armour and paintings, including works by Raeburn and Gainsborough. The grounds include a picturesque lake, restored 1903 racquet court and a bowling alley.

Urquhart Castle, close to the village of Drumnadrochit on the shores of Loch Ness, is one of the most picturesque landmarks in Scotland. Drumnadrochit is home to the Loch Ness Exhibition, as well as hotels, bed and breakfasts, walks and more; Urquhart Castle Cafe and adjoining terrace is the venue for wedding receptions with fairy tale views of the castle and Loch Ness for those planning an exotic wedding!
